About the Producer
Wolfberger is a co-op of growers located in Eguisheim in Alsace, France. The co-op includes 450 members and more than 3000 acres of vineyards and orchards. Between the wines and spirits Wolfberger produces ~1.5M cases per year. Unfortunately very few details on the distillation is available in English online but it seems like their only brandies in the states are this cherry brandy and a pear brandy.

Nose
Stewed sweet cherries and sweet with hints of spice. Like cherry pie filling. Not complex per say but smells refined. Good intensity and does a great job at being like a refined version of the base fruit. Hard to portray through notes alone but this is very, very good.
Palate
Mixture of tart and sweet cherries. Medium sweet. Has a refined feel to it and a richness to it that adds an extra dimension. Full bodied and weighty with a very good texture. Captures the fruit flavors excellently. Again hard to tell from just the notes but I think this is excellent.
Finish
Long with tart cherry.

I’m not a super experienced eau-de-vie drinker but I’ve had maybe about 25-30. This is my favorite of all of them. It has a good richness that brings this to the top of the heap. Very Very good.
