About the Producer
Maison Willm is in the Alsace region of France and was founded by Adolphe Willm 1896. Other than that, there’s not a ton of available info on this brand. In addition to a range of unaged eau-de-vie fruit brandies they produce marc, aged plum brandies, and a whole host of wines.

Nose
Fresh pear juice. Very Juicy and sweet like pears from a fruit cup. Has a strong minty aroma and a bit of artificial sweetener quality to it. Overall is okay.
Palate
Light bodied with a thin and prickly texture. Medium sweet. Fresh pear, more like the flesh than the juice I got on the nose. Some trances of mint, although less than the nose, and cinnamon. Again has a bit of artificial sweetener to it. Not bad but not good.
Finish
Medium with pear flesh and dry cinnamon. Better than I expected given the light body.
Finish: 4
Overall
Not bad but not good, this pear brandy is certainly drinkable but the artificial sweeter notes I get hold it back. Certainly happy having a drink but won’t buy a full bottle.
