About the Producer
Maison Willm is in the Alsace region of France and was founded by Adolphe Willm 1896. Other than that, there’s not a ton of available info on this brand. In addition to a range of unaged eau-de-vie fruit brandies they produce marc, aged plum brandies, and a whole host of wines.

Nose
Fresh tart cherries. Crisp smell. Light astringency. An umami funkiness, maybe like mushrooms? Is a bit off putting.
Palate
More tart black cherries. Does a good job preserving the flavor of the fruit. Very sweet, I suspect there is a small bit of sugar added. Medium body. Is tasty but texture is a bit rough. Full flavored.
Finish
Medium and tart
Rating: 4
