Nose

Unexpected, Has that funky soy or mushroom umami flavor that Armagnac gets sometimes. White grape jelly. Earthy. Cinnamon. Dry.

Palate

Very similar to the nose with that funky soy flavor. Bone dry and a trace of bitterness. Dry cinnamon. Not much oak. Only traces of wheat germ and caramel show the ex-bourbon barrel influence. Full bodied with a rich texture. Very good if unique.

Finish

Long and spicy with cinnamon.
