About the Producer
Andalusia whiskey company is small distillery in Blanco, TX in the Texas hill country. They are primarily known for their single malt whiskeys, I’ve heard they are pretty good but I’ve never tried them before. In addition to the ASM they also make this brandy made from Texas grapes and wines. I didn’t know Texas grew much wine grapes but you learn something new every day.

- Aged 2 years in chared oak barrels. Probably Andalusia’s own whiskey barrels
- Fermented and distilled from Texas Wines
- Activated charcol filtered.
Nose
Intensely floral, very young and spry smelling. Quite sweet with orange marmalade and artificial sweetener. Some chili spice. Somewhat immature smelling.
Palate
Exactly the same as the nose, Floral and artificially sweet with chili powder and orange marmalade. Full bodied and full flavored. Texture is like flat soda.
Finish
Medium. Sweet spicy and a touch bitter.

Overall
Great body but kind of immature. I wouldn’t recommend unless they put out an older version to tame the artificial sweetness.
