Nose
Very heavy red wine aromas. Raspberry jam, some caramel and toasted oak from the barrels and acidic balsamic vinegar. Dried strawberries. Very syrupy. Very intense but still well balanced. I love it.
Palate
Wow, very intense. Same and the nose with red wine, raspberry and strawberry jams and balsamic vinegar. Exceptionally full bodied and flavored with a heavy, syrupy texture. This is a heavy brandy. I still love it.
Finish
Long with balsamic and raspberry
Rating: 8

A damn good brandy if a bit off kilter. Crazy heavy but still balanced. Sadly I think this batch is gone but I’d like to try other batches from them.
